At work we’re getting into the holiday season by repeated listenings of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” by Dean Martin. iTunes tells me I’ve played the song 184 times thus far. Our goal is “12 Business Days of ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’”… 185 times now… and counting.

I sat down at my piano and went over some scales… Prior to that, I went for a run out in the hot heat… I listened to a variety of music while out on my run.

I’ve been working on my site over at cloudshift.net lately… I don’t think anything will become of it, but it’s been fun working with it again.

My Nintendo DS wants to get flung across my room, but I won’t let it win…
9 under par… more to shoot for.
I now turn to Deadwood.
It’s a quiet life, and I’m loving it.

Jehovah’s Witnesses knocked on my door. I was playing my piano. I felt compelled to answer the door.
A nice man handed me a “Worldwide Message”… “The End of False Religion is Near!”
That was all, he didn’t try to push a conversation on me…. I appreciated that.
I went back inside and typed this…
Now I’m going back to my piano, to type on that.

I skated down to check the mail. Multiple packages. I grabbed them and skated back to the office.

It’s almost time for lunch. I must decide what I will eat shortly, that way I will be prepared when lunchtime comes.

I opened the refrigerator in search of something to eat… Nothing.
I, in turn, closed the refrigerator.

First I poured the fat free skim milk into my favorite glass… Then I added the chocolate syrup. I then proceeded to stir, brisky, the syrup-milk combination. The result was a fine glass of chocolate milk. I sat on my couch and enjoyed the subtle beauty… On the television was the World Series… I thought for a moment about what it would be like if the Cubs were in the WS. I decided I will have to buy an official jersey when the Cubs make the World Series, so I can have one with the WS patch on the sleeve.
Oh, and the Cubs will make the series…
