there’s a hurricane
on it’s way to my front porch,
I can’t bear to look.

there is a front porch
with a solitary chair,
waiting for its time.

there is a lone chair,
alone on a lonely porch,
taking on the wind

there is a great wind
peeking in my back window,
it sees only me.

there is only me,
alone in my loneliness.
I made it my self.

there’s a hurricane
and me watching it go by…
go right on, bye bye.

there is no work here,
so I waste my time writing
these sad impressions.

Another day…

I managed to survive another hurricane (though it never really concerned me)… Maybe I’m cynical, maybe I don’t care, maybe that’s just the way of it. I watched a lot of TV and did a lot of sitting around on my ass. All in all, I think those are good things, given the circumstances… I found an old VHS tape I had with some Dr. Katz Professional Therapist episodes on it… Damn! That was a funny show. Where’s the DVD?

Another hurricane is forming and should be here by next weekend. More good times await.
